Sometimes smart young people make mistakes too!
An on-line friend of mine, an Arakanese who descended from the long line of Rakhines who have fought and paid their dues for Burma asked me why Dr. Nyein Chan, who earned PhD from UCL
at a young age of 26 made the YouTube video aimed Daw Aung San Su Kyi, our leader!
He lamented why Dr. Nyein Chan, has done that, made the Myanmar Express guy (from Canada)
happy and made us confused. So even your humble blogger is busy, he has asked Dr. Nyein Chan
why has he made Zar Ni's patron (sponsor) or client (sucker) MBBS physcian Doctor - he is a physician so he is addressed as a dr. for courtesy - Ko Ko Gyi (who graduated from the University
of Medicine 2, Myanmar yet he is trying to bite our hands those educated him) delighted!
But Dr. Nyein Chan is a nice guy, he may be young but mature enough to confess when he did something wrong. His reply as follows in his own words:
"Thanks for forwarding this information and your advice. This time I made an error in my judgement. After all, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is a fellow citizen and I agree that she has done so much to restore democracy in our country. I was very upset with her attitude towards current Rakhine issue. In any case, I agree that I should not direct my attacks to her. I feel and believe that we, Myanmars, should be united especially at this time when we are facing foreign invasion and international pressure. I will behave next time. Meanwhile, apologies to you if you were offended by my video."
I think it is part of maturing process, young and smart people take from intelligent and educated to become wise. I hope this blog post will make both my friend and Dr. Nyein Chan happy. We all make mistakes! Don't we?

Zarni could not make noise in Channel News Asia debate

'U Maung Zarni skipped recent debate organized by Channel News Asia. It was [supposed to be held] about 2 weeks ago. The reason he skipped [according to sources in Singapore] was because he [ZN] has been under considerable degree of stress' for being investigated by 'LSE and UW Madison and also out of fear that people would question his academic credentials (PhD?).'
Your humble blogger cannot confirm nor deny this but he thinks lesser noise he can make, the better for others to have genuine dialogue. In that sense, this blog is still serving the founding purpose.

Zarni is now now under investigation. Tip only Burmese!

For those who have been tipping me fakers from foreign countries, I do not have time for your love-hate affairs. Please tip me only if and only if:
- a faker is a Burmese, or a Burmese origin who is embarrassing us
- a non-Burmese who is messing in Burmese affairs messing us
- a non-Burmese, nothing to do with Burmese but he is exposed by investigative journalists and fellow academia
The reason is simple. I don't have time for exposing all fake PhDs. There are thousands of them, half of some parliaments or cabinets. Exposing them is not my mission. My mission is to serve Burma, my country from a distance. I have made enough enemies and I am not proud of it. I have tonnes of things to do, my employer may not be happy to see me wasting time blogging while should be teaching, publishing and taking power naps in meetings. I prefer to use my time for chasing skirts, handsome boys are welcome too, rather than wasting time in exposing fakers around the world. My mission is simple, it is just for my country, Bamar Pyi. Please stop sending the name of people you dont like or hate to me. I will not waste time for you or your foes. I hope I have made it clear by now.

Habib Siddiqui, a Chittagonian Kalar, is the mother of ...
Today I saw one of my hall of shame visiting residents is busy. He has been in this hall of shame his faked Burmese-ness while he sided with Bangladesh in the maritime dispute of Burma vs. Bangladesh while he also try to grab a leadership position in a separatist movement in the fringes of Burma. He is Dr. Habib Siddiqui, a Chittagonian, a Bangladeshi expatriate in USA, has been busy working hard for his half-brothers and step-sisters!
See this news, that made me promoted him to full membership in this hall of shame as with his fabrication of facts he earned his elite position here.
