Now we assert Maung Zarni is just Mr. Zarni!

Your humble blogger is a very busy person, but he still
tries hard to catch up with what is going on in Burma
to where he could not go back home for years. So he
keeps track of Burmese news and make no mistakes
he knows everything.

Until the first half of this week, this blog only states
that Maung Zarni, who claims to have earned a PhD,
might not have submitted a PhD thesis with the title
he claims in his Wikipedia page. Yes, it is true that
we are implying that he is faking but it is never been
an assertion. We just give you facts, such as:

For almost all doctoral dissertations leading to the PhD
from recognised universities in the western democracies
can be found in PMI. It is because all public research
universities are funded by the tax payers' money, their
doctoral work must be shown to public so that a pipe
fitter working in ditch who pays tax and a peasant who
is working in farm who pays taxes know that their tax
Dollars or Pounds will not be wasted on something not
worthy of investigating. For philanthropy endowments
driven private universities need to raise their research
profiles and the PhD research from their universities
must be show cased. A dissertation is equal to one or
two peer-reviewed journal papers depends on stature
of the journal - who cares conferences or edited works!
Normally, you can find PhD dissertation from libraries
of the universities those host graduate schools, or from
Amazon - for the Dutch and few German PhD degrees,
all PhD dissertation are published as the ISBN indexed 
books in print format - from where you can buy, search
yourself in Amazon. Or you can get from the national
libraries such as library of congress in the United States,
or from private thesis collections such as PMI-Proquest.
We have searched, consulted with librarians and other
officials and we have posted the results of investigations.
We imply that "to our best knowledge and attempts, we
still cannot find a thesis with that name written by that
authour, we confess that we want you to infer that he,
Maung Zarni does not earn a PhD till now for he has
not submitted a PhD thesis yet.

But for those who do not know, PhD like other degree
programmes or education is not a product but a process,
it trains a candidate how to analyse facts, take a stand
and discuss from that point, defend it necessary, so if
you have earned a PhD from a well respected university
you are not seen as a stupid guy or girl although there
are lot of people who act like mental retards even they
have earned genuine PhDs. But we do not say they are
fakers, forgers or cheaters but they are diluters as they
dilute the respects for PhD degrees some holders have
earned worthily in real hard way.

Now we assert, yes we are asserting now, Maung Zarni
has not only submitted a thesis yet - for we cannot find
it; we means our combined academic credentials is about
1 PhD, 2 Doctorates (DBA, MBA, etc..) and 2 Masters.

But again, if he can send his real PhD dissertation PDF
file then we will publicly apologise but till now we think
he is not Dr. Zarni but Mr. Zarni and he may not have
gone through the PhD training or he may not possess
the right amount of brain power to go through a PhD
degree programme.
